It’s that time of year again. Every year I am surprised at how fast the Holiday Season seems to come upon us. This time of year is full of acts of kindness and giving, and I wanted to take this opportunity to highlight one of the people who work here at Challenger, who puts so much effort into raising money for various events throughout the year.
All year long, our very own Nate Smith can been found taking the initiative to help others. Sometimes that’s by leading a team of our male employees, all wearing red heels for Walk a Mile in Her Shoes, and other times he’s found sporting a grisly Movember mustache for men’s health. Nate is the guy that makes sure every lady in his department gets a rose on Valentines’ Day.
His latest efforts show his dedication to Going the Distance, and making the Holiday Season a great one, especially for those who struggle financially this time of year. Over the Holiday Season, Nate really steps up his game and works extra hard for the local Food Drive and local Toy Drive. Through his own enthusiasm, he has pushed the rest of the Company at head office to take part, and make a difference.

Nate, thanks for Going the Distance and modelling how at Challenger we put people first. Your commitment is an encouraging force for what our company strives for!
This is a wonderful time of year when we can focus on our many blessings and loved ones in our lives, and share with those around us. I hope everyone has a happy and healthy time with friends and family over the Holiday Season.
Best wishes to all,
Geoff Topping
Director of Recruiting and Retention.
