First of all I would like to wish everyone all the best of the holiday season. It is my hope that you have a safe and happy time with friends and family.

This time of year is also a time of reflection and new starts for many. I am not much of a new year resolution person, but I do like to spend some time reflecting on the past year and its ups and downs. I find it useful to reflect on my contribution in things that went well, as well as identify areas of improvement for myself in things that did not go as well as planned. If we are honest with ourselves we can always find areas of improvement in our lives both personal and professional. In saying that I also try to be cautious to not get caught up in living in the past or the future. I heard a great quote one time that has always stuck with me “Think about yesterday, plan for tomorrow, but live for today”

For all of those who will be working over the holidays both in and out of the trucking world I say thank you.
